 Heightened security on every airport in the world : This is the reason why every soul on earth, including romanians, flying anywhere in the

world are not allowed to carry bottles containing liquid of more than 100 ml. A plot to blow up planes in flight from the UK to the US and commit “mass murder on an unimaginable scale” has been disrupted, Scotland Yard has said. It is thought the plan was to detonate explosive devices smuggled in hand luggage on to as many as 10 aircrafts.  Police are searching premises after 21 people were arrested. Three US airlines are believed to have been targeted. Had the attack gone ahead it would have caused a loss of life of “unprecedented scale”.

Recently, the head of Interpol, Ronald K. Noble, was reported to have criticized Britain’s checks of travelers to the UK against its global database. Noble was reported to say: “We have the passport numbers, fingerprints and photos of more than 11,000 suspected terrorists on our database. But the UK does not check it against immigrants coming into the country or foreign nationals it has arrested. The guys detained last week [car bomb suspects] could be wanted, arrested or convicted anywhere in the world and the UK would not know.”
