UK: Practising Muslims Will Outnumber Christians by 2035 !

IF the UK is to survive they need to drastically overhaul the Church of England (Catholics can handle their own). Second step, pray hard and pray often because things aren’t looking too good for the UK……

By 2035, there will be about 1.96 million active Muslims in Britain, compared with 1.63 million church-going Christians, according to calculations by Christian Research, a think- tank.

The figures are published in the latest in a series of reports entitled Religious Trends. The think-tank has warned that 4,000 churches could close by 2020 if congregations continue to shrink at current rates.

According to the most recent figures from the Church of England, regular Sunday, weekly and monthly attendance each fell by one per cent in 2006. Fewer than a million people attend church every Sunday.
Although at the last count there were only 1.6million Muslims living in Britain – compared to 41million Christians – experts have suggested Muslims are more likely to practise their faith.

More than half of the Muslims who responded to the 2001 census said they prayed every day, compared to 6.3 per cent of Christians who attend church services each week. Christian Research describes its aim as encouraging “change in Christian culture so that by 2010 more churches are growing”.

April 2008 : 1 OUT OF 3 ITALIANS SAYS ‘NO’ TO MOSQUES Immigration from Islamic countries seemed to be more problematic to the majority of Italians (55%): the specific problems were the intolerance of Muslims towards the Catholic religion (28%), the critical attitude towards Italian culture and traditions (25%) and the danger of terrorist attacks (17%).  Even a big share of the non-Muslim immigrants (44.5%) believed that immigration from Islamic countries pose more problems than that from other countries. Besides, almost 50% of the Christian immigrants and immigrants from other faiths were against the possibility for Muslims to build mosques in Italy: a much higher percentage than the one registered among Italians (31%).

April 2008, Brits fear race violence will erupt :
Of the 1000 people sounded out by Mori pollsters for the BBC, 60 per cent said Britain had too many immigrants.  A quarter of those polled said their area did not feel like Britain any more because of immigration.

In a similar poll taken for the Davos World Economic Forum, stunning numbers of Europeans fear a “threat” from Muslims with whom they “interact”: 79 percent of Danes, 67 percent of Italians, 68 percent of Spaniards, 65 percent of Swedes and 59 percent of Belgians.

Judges & human rights lawyers ENDANGER Europe’s Security

17 April 2008 : After months of quiet diplomacy, the Norwegian government has given up on efforts to send former terrorist-group leader Mullah Krekar back to his homeland.
Krekar, who has been under an expulsion order after being determined a threat to Norway’s national security, initially came to Norway as a refugee from Iraq in the early 1990s. It later emerged that he was the head of guerrilla group Ansar al-Islam and he repeatedly violated the terms of his asylum by travelling back to northern Iraq to lead guerrilla activities. Krekar is the only person in Norway ever to have been sentenced to deportation because he is a danger to the country’s security. However, Norway has not been able to deport Krekar because he faces the death penalty in his homeland. Norway will not extradite anyone if they are under threat of execution when they are returned to their country of origin.

UK, April 10, 2008  : Osama bin laden’s ‘right hand’ man ABU QATADA wins deportation fight yesterday as the Court of Appeal delivered two blows to attempts to remove suspected terrorists from the country.  Abu Qatada, Radical Islamist preacher who was described by a Spanish judge as “Osama bin Laden’s right-hand man in Europe” and by a British judge as a “truly dangerous individual”. The father of five arrived in Britain in 1993 on a forged United Arab Emirates passport and in June 1994 was allowed to stay after claiming asylum for himself and his family.

Three judges, headed by Sir Anthony Clarke (see photo of the idiot in his wig) blocked the deportation of Abu Qatada despite a “no torture” guarantee given to the British Government by Jordan.

Judges also barred the return of two Libyan terrorist suspects because they would be at risk of torture and a “complete” denial of a fair trial if they were sent there from Britain. The ruling in the Libyan case forced the Home Office to abandon deportation cases against another ten Libyan suspects after officials received legal advice that they would lose the cases.

(TERORRIST BACKER) Julia Hall, of Human Rights Watch, said: “These cases show that the British Government should stop trying to deport people to countries whose justice systems are deeply tainted by torture and other abuses.”

Tony McNulty, the Police Minister, said the Home Office would appeal to the House of Lords over the Abu Qatada judgment. He will remain at Long Lartin top-security prison in Worcestershire. If the Government loses the appeal it faces the prospect of having to release him from jail, where he is being held under immigration powers awaiting deportation.

SOMALIAN PIRATES CAN CLAIM UK ASYLYM :
THE Royal Navy, once the scourge of brigands on the high seas, has been told by the Foreign Office not to detain pirates because doing so may breach their human rights.  Warships patrolling pirate-infested waters, such as those off Somalia, have been warned that there is also a risk that captured pirates could claim asylum in Britain. The Foreign Office has advised that pirates sent back to Somalia could have their human rights breached because, under Islamic law, they face beheading for murder or having a hand chopped off for theft.

Fatma Aykut, a Muslim journalist living in Germany, describes the impact the film had on her — and why it failed to shock. Ms Aykut also called the terms ‘Islamisation of Europe’ as tired slogans that can be found tied to right-wing extremists in any local, state or federal election in Germany. They are familiar, and they have long since ceased to be “shocking.”

This reaction is typical of attempts to dismiss Wilders. By labelling it as ’right wing,’ she has exposed her own set of prejudices.

‘The islamisation of Europe’ is not only found in Germany but throughout Europe. Neither is it a tired slogan. It is a fact. An example of a tired slogan is ’ISLAM is A RELIGION of PEACE.’ It is tired because it is endlessly repeated without any justification.

Furthermore, Ms Aykut wrote that audiences would have been so ‘desensitised’ by the scenes of 9/11, that the film failed to shock. If that is the case, then the audience is in serious need of being REsensitized by them. Evil does not become less evil through over-exposure.

The author seemed to be obsessed with the concept of ’shock.’

Who says this is the objective of Wilders ? Shock Implies a temporary and emotional reaction. Surely we are NOT shocked because Islam HAS become synonomous with images of hostility towards others. Rather than making excuses for Islam, Ms Aykut shld be asking herself whether there is a reason why it has developed the reputation for violence that it has. The answer is to be found in the Quran and the hadith. Just see what her Muslim friends in this article below said :

REPORT 2 : INNOCENT NON-MUSLIMS DESERVE TO BE KILLED & RAPED

Tuesday, April 01, 2008: A question-and-answer session with Imam Abdul Makin in an East London mosque asks why Allah would tell Muslims to kill and rape innocent non-Muslims, including their wives and daughters.

“Because non-Muslims are never innocent, they are guilty of denying Allah and his prophet,” the Imam says, according to the report. “If you don’t believe me, here is the legal authority, the top Muslim lawyer of Britain.”

The lawyer, Anjem Choudary (photo), backs up the Imam’s position, saying that all Muslims are innocent.

“You are innocent if you are a Muslim,” Choudary tells the BBC. “Then you are innocent in the eyes of God. If you are not a Muslim, then you are guilty of not believing in God.”

Choudary said he would NOT condemn a Muslim for any action. “As a Muslim, I must support my Muslim brothers and sisters,” Choudary said. “I must have hatred to everything that is not Muslim.”

He went out to enquire and saw Abu Ayyub.. He asked him what he was doing near his tent. He replied: “I was afraid for you with this young lady. You had killed her father, her husband and many of her relatives, and till recently she was an unbeliever. I was really afraid for you on her account and was guarding you.” The Prophet prayed for Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (Ibn Hisham, p. 766)

Libyan Muslim on Statements by UK Archbishop of Canterbury : ‘If Europe adopts Shariah, it will Revert to Pre-Englightenment Era’

In a February 26, 2008 article in the Arab liberal e-journal Elaph, Libyan-European liberal thinker and entrepreneur Muhammad ‘Abd Al-Muttalib Al-Houni wrote that the recent statements by Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams on implementing shari’a law in Britain constituted dangerous encouragement to fundamentalists in their war against the Enlightenment. He added that such statements could have very grave repercussions for the struggle for freedom in Muslim countries as well.

The following are excerpts from Al-Houni’s article:

Would Europe Have Islamic Courts, or Would We Send European Judges to the Taliban to Learn Shari’a?

“I recently read a statement by the head of the Anglican Church [Archbishop of Canterbury Dr. Rowan Williams], the upshot of which was that there was nothing wrong with the British legal system adopting some laws from Islamic shari’a and their implementing them for British citizens of the Islamic faith.

… “I imagine that the archbishop is referring [only] to Islamic shari’a laws regarding personal status. So let us imagine these laws being implemented in European courts.

“First of all, on the procedural side, there would need to be Islamic courts in European countries to adjudicate in all disputes involving European Muslim citizens - or else a large number of European judges would have to be sent to the Taliban to learn shari’a thoroughly enough to implement its laws.

“Also, European countries seeking to implement shari’a would need to submit their reservations regarding any international conventions they may have signed. This is because they will have to:

“1) Permit polygamy for European Muslim citizens, and not punish them for it - [even though] this is considered criminal under European law;

“2) Permit European Muslim citizens to beat their wives to discipline them, as the Koran urges;

“3) Allow men to unilaterally decide to divorce without requiring any court proceedings, as this is a right guaranteed [to men] by shari’a;

“4) Give daughters [only] half the inheritance rights that sons have, while widows receive only an eighth of the inheritance;

“5) [Not] consider women’s testimony the equal of men’s in shari’a courts;

“6) Deprive a divorced woman of custody of her children if she remarries;

“7) Allow European Muslim citizens to marry in traditional marriages without the need to officially register these marriages;

” Eliminate adoption, since it is contrary to shari’a;

“9) Force a woman whose Muslim husband converts to another religion to divorce him, because he is an apostate;

“10) Prevent European Muslim women from marrying non-Muslims…”

Adopting Shari’a Would Undermine the Concept of Citizenship

“If [Archbishop Rowan's] intention is to introduce some or all of these laws from Islamic shari’a into Europe’s legal systems, it would mean the following:

“1) The concept of citizenship in Europe will change. There will be [different] classes of citizenship and of citizens, with some citizens being exempt from having the general law applied to them because they belong to a particular religion or belief. There will be a Muslim [class of] citizen, a Christian [class of] citizen, a Buddhist [class of] citizen, a Confucian [class of] citizen, and so on. Each will apply his own laws… Thus, faith will not be an individual freedom or belief; it will [come to] have extremely serious public ramifications.

“2) If some or all of these laws were implemented and recognized by European legislative bodies, it would not only seriously damage human rights legislation - it would spell the end [of this legislation]. This is because everything I mentioned above is a negation of human rights principles.

“3) Recognizing all, or [even] some, of these laws would take European societies back to the age before the Enlightenment and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As a result, the West would revert to barbarism.”

Saudi Politicians Refuse to Act Against Defamation of Religions

March 21, 2008; An Islamic initiative to establish an international convention against the “defamation” of all religions ran into an unexpected hurdle this week in Saudi Arabia, where members of a government advisory body argued that the move could force Muslims to recognize pagan beliefs.

The drive to outlaw offenses against all religions and religious figures is being spearheaded by the 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) as a response to Western depictions of Islam and Mohammed in ways that Muslims consider insulting.

Saudi Arabia’s Shoura Council — an appointed body that advises the kingdom’s unelected government — this week considered a recommendation that the foreign ministry should coordinate with various groups at the U.N. “to adopt an international convention that prohibits offending (all) religions and religious figures in any way.”

BUT the proposal sparked dissent. Members of the council argued that a convention protecting all religions from defamation would oblige Muslims to tolerate other religious beliefs.

Council member Khaleel al-Khaleel was quoted by the Saudi Gazette as warning against a “trap,” and saying that religious concepts differ from country to country and from civilization to civilization. “Should Muslims be committed to respect and not criticize any deviant creed that some people consider a religion?” he asked.

Another member, Talal Bakri, said a convention against “offending religions” could lead to calls for Muslim countries to allow temples of pagan religions.

So, the council still rejected the recommendation by a 77-33 vote.

March 23, 2008, ITALIAN editor and critic of Islamic extremism Magdi Allam, who converted to Catholicism from Islam and was baptised by Pope Benedict XVI, today branded his former faith as intrinsically violent.

“I had to do this (abandon Islam)”, Allam wrote in a long letter to the Italian daily Corriere della Sera. “Beyond … the phenomenon of extremists and Islamist terrorism at the global level, the root of evil is inherent to a physiologically violent and historically conflictual Islam,” wrote the Egyptian-born journalist, who says he has received death threats and is under police protection.

One of seven adults baptised during an Easter vigil yesterday evening, Allam, 55, is an editorial writer and deputy editor at Corriere.

Regarding a combative tone that has made him famous in Italy, Allam wrote: “Over the years my spirit has been freed from the obscurantism of an ideology that legitimises lies and deception, violent death that leads to homicide and suicide, blind submission to tyranny.”

He described Catholicism as “an authentic religion of Truth, Life and Freedom”.

By baptising Allam in the public ceremony, the Pope “sent an explicit and revolutionary message to a church that until now has been too cautious in the conversion of Muslims … because of the fear of being unable to protect the converted who (in Islam) are condemned to death for apostasy,” Allam said.

“Thousands of people in Italy have converted to Islam and practise their faith serenely,” he wrote. “But there are also thousands of Muslims who have converted to Christianity who are forced to hide their new faith out of fear of being killed by [their families, friends and] Islamist terrorists.”

Allam adopted the Christian name of Cristiano (Christian), not a common name in Italy.

Allam, who has been outspoken about the conflict in the Middle East, in 2006 organised a demonstration in Rome in support of Christians in the Muslim world.
